Message I am trying to trace down a problem where the car will die at idle when slightly touching or moving the harness bundle which contains the IAA connectors among a few others. I tried sliding this bundle to one side to get at the idle adjustment screw and the car instantly died. Would not restart until I started moving the bundle around and then died again. Car will attempt to start but not turn over.

I figured it might have been a dirty connector going to the IAA regulator or valve, so I popped them off and cleaned them with with electric cleaner and a small screwdriver. No luck, still am unable to start. If either the valve or regulator lose their electric signal, that would not cause the car to instantly turn off right? I thought the car would still run with the AAC connector off, just at base idle. Just trying to troubleshoot where the problem might be before I start cutting into the harness bundle.

any help is appreciated.
